Former WWE wrestler and political candidate wanted for murder in Las Vegas

News 3 Las Vegas has reported that Daniel Rodimer is wanted for murder in connection with a homicide on the Las Vegas Strip last year.

According to the report, a criminal complaint and arrest warrent for Rodimer, a former wrestler and congressional candidate, were filed in Las Vegas in connection with the death of Christopher Tapp.

The coroner’s office of Clark County ruled Tapp’s death a homicide after detectives learned the victim was involved in a fight inside a hotel room, saying the cause was blunt force trauma to the head.

The complaint filed by the District Attorney’s office in the county alleges that Rodimer killed Tapp by striking him “on the head…having been willful, deliberate, and premeditated.”

Rodimer was briefly in WWE development, competing in Deep South Wrestling, OVW, and FCW as Dan Rodman, between 2006 and 2007.

He went on to run as a Republican candidate for Nevada’s third congressional district in 2020 and a Texas congressional seat in 2021, both efforts proving unsuccessful.

The complaint follows three prior arrests in Florida on suspicion of assault, though no convictions were made.
