Report: Drew Gulak removed from NXT programming following WWE investigation

Bryan Alvarez has reported that WWE conducted an investigation into accusations made by Ronda Rousey during her appearance on NewsNation earlier this month.

Speaking on the apparent culture of the backstage scene in the company, Rousey accused Drew Gulak of inappropriately pulling a drawstring on her pants at an event in 2022, with the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion later claiming he inadvertently touched the drawstring while reaching out to shake her hand.

In a post to his subscribers on social media, Alvarez wrote:

Regarding Ronda and Drew, what is unique about this one is both claimed there were witnesses. I was told WWE did an investigation, interviewed people, and Gulak has been murdered in storyline. So I presume that tells you the result of the investigation.

On the 4/16 edition of NXT, a segment aired in which No Quarter Catch Crew approached Tony D’Angelo to “take care” of Gulak.
