During the Zero Hour broadcast ahead of ROH Supercard of Honor, Nigel McGuinness was announced as joining commentary for the show. He arrived to the ring just before Takeshita took on Willie Mack.
McGuinness, a former ROH World and Pure Champion, was last seen in ROH in December of 2016 as the on-air matchmaker for the company. He departed for WWE and began as a commentator for the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament the following month, before joining the NXT booth from February to September 2017, later joining the 205 Live and Main Event commentary teams where he remained until being released from the company in October of 2022.
