Caprice Coleman discusses career longevity as commentator

During an interview with Armbars & Sidebars, ROH commentator Caprice Coleman discussed how taking on the role has given an added longevity to his career in pro wrestling.

In comparing his place as an active in-ring performer to that on commentary, Coleman states:

“It’s just I hear mostly fans, they’re like, oh, you’re just a commentator now and I’m like, bruh, you have no idea the importance of that job and the longevity that it’s given my career and the blessing behind it for me is the fact that when I was a wrestler and even wrestling now, the best there ever on big time wrestling was mid-card, you know what I mean?”

Coleman would also compare himself to Jerry Lawler in terms of being to compete on the independent circuit while covering commentary on television alongside Ian Riccaboni for Ring of Honor, as the company prepares for the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on 7/21.
