WWE/AEW News Bits: Vince McMahon, Triple H; AEW considering a streaming service

WWE CEO Nick Khan was asked in the opening of Thursday’s investors call if he could tell investors “with certainty” if Vince McMahon would be willing to end his involvement with WWE after a sale, if that gives shareholders the most value. Khan responded with: “Yes. Without question.” Also, per Khan, McMahon declared it to the board and to management. Khan further said that with any potential buyer, WWE is looking for someone in the media business and who knows the WWE product – not with just “deep pockets.”

During his part of Thursday’s investors call, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque said he’s enjoying having Vince McMahon back around. Levesque said that it’s been “great” to have McMahon around thanks to his “incredible insight” and that he remains “a tremendous asset to this company.”
